Piers Russell-CobbAfter graduating in PPE from New College Oxford Piers, lived in LA and worked in films as associate producer and advertising as deputy creative director returning to the UK to work with Quentin Crewe on The Great Chefs of France. After eight years at Thames and Hudson he joined the Reed Group first to sell co-editions then becoming Publicity and Promotions Director of Heinemann. In 1991 after two years at an investment bank specialising in Media he set up MediaFund, an independent media brokerage. Since 1989 Piers has represented a number of authors and translators in the sale of their work including Lucia Graves (the Shadow of the Wind), Tomas Graves and the wine writer Robert Joseph. Within The Marsh Agency he is looking for quirky and general fiction and non-fiction. |
